Target group of the project The number of disabled people in Cambodia is increasing, and they are facing  a lot of challenges. The number is increasing because of
  • After effect of all most 30 years civil war. They are land mine victims.
  • Even not much right now, but the poor of medical care is also the cause of disable.
  • Traffic victims getting bigger and bigger problem in Cambodia.
  • Most of them receive little attention from society.

Goal of the project The goal of the project is to prepare the disable young people/adults on independent living.
30 disable people per year are invited to stay at COMPED HOME for 2 months learning on chicken farming, pig breeding and building on self confident.
When they return to their home villages, they receive a small starting capital and after some time they are visited at home and further assistance will be provided if is necessary.		 agri02
Training content The main contents of the training are:
  • Chicken breeding in a small scale.
  • Pig farm in a small scale and
  • Integrated agriculture including agriculture waste recycling (composting, biogas).

Updated 2018 thirty disable youth will be invited for training at COMPED HOME on integrated agriculture including animal breeding (chicken and pig), agriculture waste recycling (aerobic an anaerobic) and using compost for improving quality of agriculture soil.
